The final game made during DADIU, for this project, I acted as a game and level designer and was mainly responsible for the UI, HUD, and itch page.

For this project, my main contribution was to design the UI  and hud for game. I started out with the general layout for the UI made in Figma. I structured the layout with a background image in mind and made the design navigable via controller.
After the initial layout was done, I then designed the final menu in Figma. Again, I made sure that the entire menu was controller-friendly. the largest difference was moving the main menu buttons into the middle of the screen, which was done due to background picture considerations.
After my design was accepted, I started implementing it in Unity; I only did the aesthetic aspects of this and none of the functional aspects. Some changes were necessary due to the changing scope of the game, so for example the controller support was dropped and as such no longer necessary to consider in the menu.
The hud of the game was quite easy to design as it only needed some icons for indicating the rotational controls, here I made some icons which was largely preserved in the final version of the games HUD.
